FREE Women's Health Seminar Offered By Cape Canaveral Hospital
COCOA BEACH, FL - Cape Canaveral Hospital will continue its monthly lecture series on outsmarting menopause that began in 2009. Called the "Red Hot Mamas" series, these lectures are aimed at providing medical information and peer support to women and their family members on coping with the physical and psychological impact of menopause, which usually affects women age 40 and beyond.
Eileen Volpe, Ph.D., ARNP-C, specializing in Adolescent Women, Menopause & Sexual Health, will present: "My Changing Valentine: Sex and Menopause - What's Age Got To Do With It?" at the next Red Hot Mamas Menopause Management Education Program. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 10, from 6 to 7 pm following a special wine, cheese and chocolate reception at 5:30 pm in the Cape Canaveral Hospital Medical Plaza Conference Room.
We encourage you to bring your questions; your partner and your friends. We'll be discussing the universal physical changes that occur to all women at menopause, as well as hormones, your libido and how to help yourself.
Red Hot Mamas is the largest menopause management education program in North America and is dedicated to empowering women to be educated consumers in their health care and active participants in the management of their menopause, preparing them for a comfortable transition.
